There is what I consider a major error in today's edition of the DR1 Daily News.

DR1 News says: "Doctors recommend against the use of aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen and other NSAIDs that are recommended for arthritic pain and fever to treat the illness."

Leaving sufferers with very little to ease the pain and discomfort.

Fortunately, there are common options. The CDC says:

"Treatment is symptomatic and can include rest, fluids, and medicines to relieve symptoms of fever and aching such as ibuprofen, naproxen, acetaminophen, or paracetamol. Aspirin should be avoided."

Unfortunately, other than this thread there will be no chance for DR1 to correct its error until the 27th.

You must have been as giddy as a schoolgirl when you found that Ken, congratulations!

Yes, it made my day. Would have been even better, though, if the source of the correct information was the Sosua News.
