I'm sure this has been asked before, but is there a gym in cabarete or sosua that I can use while on vacation?

There are gyms both places. I am in Sosua and go to the gym on the top floor of the Sosua Bay casino

At the end of Calle Rosen just before the Casino is a good gym. You should have no problem paying by the day there.

There's a Gold's Gym in Sosua Ocean Village, roughly halfway between Sosua and Cabarete, on the ocean side.

It's around 350 pesos a day, but easily the nicest public facility on the north coast. It has near state-of-the-art equipment, and a bright, airy, well-kept workout area. If you don't mind paying a few extra dollars, it's well worth it.

Do you know the monthly fee?

I think they said 3k a month, but it's been a while since I asked. Best to go in and see if they're feeling like striking an end-of-year deal.

3K a month? Does that come with the coconut oil massages? I pay US$15/month at my place back home and the equipment is all new. Sadly, no massage though.
