No way, it's absolutely prohibited !!!
That resort is run by Bin Laden, and you will have to wear the burka all the time !!!

Wanted to take a picture of inside Carrefour in Sto Domingo (july). Security guards came running from all directions, prohibido de tomar foto aqui (not mentioned anywhere). Wanted to even take the camera. Pic was for a friend who works for Carrefour corp. security, but hadn't seen finished building.

That sort of thing probably should have

been cleared beforehand, thru channels, so to speak.
Of course you can't take pictures in casinos for obvious reasons, or banks....Carrefour, being a French company probably had a higher conciousness of security than most places...

I think our questioner wanted to know if there was even electricity here!! That's why the DUH!!
