I appreciate that, Joe. The only additional info I have is that I did find one and reburied it without being smart enough to realize what I had. Years later, I learned that the town where I found it was the site of a famous meteor shower, and little cross sections of material from that famous meteorite shower sell for $$$. There is a TV show, Meteorite Men, which follows 2 guys who hunt meteors for a living. They have magnetized trowels, for lack of the better term, to lift the meteors off the ground as a means of testing material that is visually determined to possibly be a meteor. Meteors might be one search target that would make DR a riching hunting ground than places like UK.
