Like I said, it getting awefully close. Even though my first thought was: what does a 62 year old Dutch guy do on a pasola in loa Alcarrizos?

Did I read the article correctly...that he was carrying his own 9mm and was shot with a 9mm.

i re-read both articles and it is not clear to me whether he was shot from his own gun during a struggle to take it away from him or from a different gun (9 mm are popular here, no?).

In the article in zeta they say he was shot after they took his gun but it doesn't explicitly say it was with his own gun.

The "Dutch Guy" was most likely "Up To No Good".
The "Swiss guy was just out to lunch with his wife and 7 year old child, to a restaurant they frequented on a weekly basis.
His mistake was stopping at a "ATM" to take out some money before they went!
If you think they ain't "Tracking You", you're WRONG, and in his case,...."Dead Wrong"!!!!
The money in the streets dries up soon after the beginning of January.
Those guys gotta get their "Drug Money" no matter what!!!!

Last month also another dutch fellah got gunned down in RD (he was involved in the drugs trade).. It is getting dangerous for the Dutchies!

i don't think i saw that in local papers but i know someone talked about in on dr1. victor, i think was the name.

Victor van den Broeke was his name. Drug related, it only got in the Dutch press now, after this guy was killed in Los alcarrizos.

That's correct.. I wonder why it didn't make the local newspapers..

Killed gringos normally always make the headlines.. criminal or not..
