The "PRICE" is a never ending hatred for the father!!!!
However, someone eventually wins "POWER BALL" so you DO have a chance!

That depends what your standards are. Giving birth (natural) costed us 205,000 pesos (by then usd5,000). Each check was 3,500 pesos, so let's say 50,000 throughout the pregnancy. Sonograms 3,000. We needed a lot, but I guess three is average. So, about 260,000 pesos.

I'm sure someone will say here it costs 10,000 pesos max.

You get what you pay for. Running water might be nice while giving birth. Some folks might even want tile floors..

Classic photo. Looks like something out of a Quentin Terintino movie.
I always like the clinics where you can walk by and see the Doctor through the window or open door treating the patient.

But that's not the kind of place where you pay US$ 5,000 for a birth. That looks more like a public/rural hospital. Let's be fair here. High end clinics are as good as in any other place.

The type of clinics available depends on what the person can afford to pay. It is based on one's budget. There are top knotch clinics where everything is modern but you will pay a hefty price.

the price of pregnancy? 9 months of misery followed by 18 years of unhappiness.

I have to disagree. Corazones Unidos is not as bad as the posted picture, but far away from what you get in a real country.

(that's where you pay USD5,000 for giving birth).

I suppose Abel Gonzalez and Hospiten do meet the standards of USA / Europe.

Sorry, disliked by mistake. I was gonna say those 18 years are followed by a lifetime of disappointment...

I also disagree on this one. The 3 x nine months weren't any misery for me (besides having to buy anything my wife was craving for). The past 8 years, the presence of first 1, then 2 and now 3 pregnancy-results have been nothing less than a joy (and a blessing).

Those days that I wonder what I was thinking coming to this country, I look at my children and decide that I don't mind where I am, as long as I am with them (and my wife).

1. Well, the two of you can negotiate a price, can you not?
(How much did you pay in the end?)
2. Then it's priceless (some say...). :bunny:
3. Later it can become very expensive... (paying all his bills..... divorce..., etc.) :knockedou
