I am trying to book a studio here for a friend. Bert is apparently in the USA and the Dominican who answers the phone at the condos can take the booking but the deposit he wants put into his own personal bank account.

Does any one know the place and know if the guy there is kosher?

Kosher as in two kitchens or kosher as in on the up and up? If the later, I'd suggest a pm to Frank12 he might know.

The mashgiach comes by Cabarete usually on the third Tuesday of every month to check up on things.

I stayed there last year for a month and enjoyed it. I would only deal with Anna, Bert's wife. She run's the condos and speaks good English.
