yes it is my first post but have been going to the DR for 8 years. I own a condo on the North side, a apartment on the South side and about 200 acres north of Santo Domingo.
I am now getting my feet wet by planting 1,000 Banana trees on my land. The total investment was $400!
I'm pretty sure I can sell to the locals but was wondering if anyone on the forum is involved in the agriculture wholesaling of produce in the DR?
PS....I have been reading this form for years....I have grown out of ISOC, IFTC, Cuba Dave, etc.
I am semi-retired from the US and spend 4-6 months in the DR with the intension of living FT at retirement.

I ve no "good information" as such. I live in the campo so local prices are cheap. What I do is load up the truck with platanos, mangoes and avocadoes once or twice a year and sell them at the open air market at POP.....
