On Sunday, February 23 D. R. Dream Team organizes a family brunch at the Velero beach of Cabarete. The volunteers (Greg Cowern, Orchid Bowcutt, David Zinaman, Rich Weber, Robert Ottis, Ted Foster, Joe Neurauter and Gordon Segal) all members of the Team, have set up a big event. D. R. Dream Team is a foundation dedicated to children from poor families. They build houses, provide music lessons, crafts lessons and information on care and hygiene. The brunch will be American style, so extensive. Additionally, there are many activities for children including a sand castle contest. There is also an auction. The well-known blues and jazz performer, Anthony Jefferson, will provide the music during the Brunch together with the Dream Band. A ticket for the Brunch costs 1200 pesos. Up to two children under 12 years of age may then participate in the company of a parent for free. All proceeds from this event will benefit the education of about 1,500 children living in Cabarete and Sos?a .
