We're in the middle of extending one of our property side walls by 60 meters [taking down the barbed wire fencing].
Several years ago, we built a wall across the front of our property, and we needed to pay a permit fee. They told us it was because it was a front wall, that side walls don't need them.
Yesterday the alcalde came over and told us we have to pay 3000 pesos for a permit to extend the existing side wall, based on the length of the wall.
Anyone familiar with building permit laws???? Maybe a link to laws?
Thanks in advance.
