From today's Sosua News:

From Wednesday, February 5th the exhibition of carnival masks and costumes in the cultural center (Casa de Cultura) on Town Hall Square (Plaza la Independencia) in Puerto Plata is open to the public. Here you can admire the on Taino Indian culture inspired carnival decorations. The exhibition will be open throughout the month of February.

I was in Puerto Plata today for a doctor appointment. Since there were a number ahead of me, I visited the Casa de Cultura to see the display of carnival masks and costumes. Very well done and worth a look. I will be putting up photos in near future.
