I am having a small two person tub style Jacuzzi installed on my terrace. My question is pros and cons of what to use for the hot water component. I already have a built in propane feed for my BBQ close to where the Jacuzzi will go. should I use propane heater or electric water heater. I see the propane heaters are very expensive.

Get a good cover to heat it up in the day. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets it up to the 95 degree range. Use a heater to supplement... Also, don't get sold on the latest and greatest propane heater; a lot of the newer models are more energy efficient, but are more complicated and pricey to fix. Many also have more problems. Get the standard millivolt heater.

I've a rooftop whirlpool in zona colonial and I'm building a cover for shade in order to cool it down.
