Sosua Postal System

Another newbie comment on your postal system.

Two weeks ago I mailed a letter to Canada from Sosua, regular size, 3 pages inside. Cost 35 pesos.

On Thusday I mailed the exact same size letter to Canada with 5 pages inside. Cost was 15 pesos.

Question??

Did the DR experience rapid deflation over the past two weeks or did I just overpay the first time. Just another newbie experience.

I suspect that people just don't don't know what the rates are. I was sending post cards with a single stamp ( advised by a local ). Then in a post office one day, they told me I needed 2 stamps. All my post cards goth there. Just some took longer than others.
