Default Apple TV - goodbye Claro TV

Just bought Apple TV last week. I wish I would have done this earlier. Watching Netflix from USA, Mexico or Netherlands, watching all the dutch public programs and most of the commercial channels from the Netherlands as well. Getting rid of Claro TV and will get a 10MB internet connection.

    https://www.apple.com/appletv/whats-on/

these are the channels. Besides you can use airplay for much of the content on your iphone, ipad or macbook and / or mirror the screen of other devices, even though then you lose HD.

I have an Apple TV which I got as a present, and later bought a Roku for my bedroom. Boy do I regret having purchased a Roku. It's a terrible user experience compared to the Apple TV. You may get a few more channels but it's a pain in the butt to navigate, plus no ethernet port (in my model at least) and a horrible interface.

Not streaming but you can watch shows on those channels on HuluPlus on either device.

Thanks to the OP for the post. I was wondering if my Apple TV would work in the DR. I'm bringing it with me when i move.
