From today's Sosua News:

Saturday, March 8 at exactly 10 o'clock in the morning a ceremonial meeting was held on the premises of the Mustard Seed Foundation in Cangrejos (5 kilometers from Sos?a). The meeting was held to celebrate the officially taking into use of the new building complex where disabled children are taken care off. The building consists of bedrooms, living and dining room, recreation room, medical center, massage room and offices and rooms for the staff. The construction of this entirely new center became reality thanks to the tireless efforts of volunteers and donors. During the meeting, which was held in a marquee, the archbishop of Jamaica, the Bishop of Puerto Plata and many others involved held a speech.

Mayor Ilana Neumann of Sos?a was also present and held a speech. Among other donors and volunteers from Sos?a, Sylvia Cheal and Sylvain Chretjen received extra attention and an extra thanks. The old building will now be, after some adjustments, used as a shelter for volunteers who take care of the children. The new building will be expanded further so that the number of children taken care of can increase too.

There are many ways to support the Mustard Seed Project.
