Is it better to get the trace batteries (6 volt) or the Trojan reds. Ochoa has trace 2.4 kw-24vdc inversors for 22,685 pesos, and the trace batteries(6v- 235 Ah) for 5983 peso each. I need to purchase three inversors. Is this a decent price.
Trace as a company no longer exists. They were purchased by Xantrex. Trace made and now Xantrex makes good inverters.
Neither Trace nor Xantrex ever made batteries. So somebody makes a battery and puts the Trace name on it. Who makes those batteries? I have no idea.
I prefer Trojan Red batteries.
I'm aware of that but Xantrex still markets the trace inverters.
Not as far as I know. I suspect the Trace Inverters are old stock.

And I noticed that Schneider Electric is the new owner of Xantrex.
