Wednesday March 19 there was a reception at the cultural center of Sos?a (Casa de Arte) to officially open a photo exhibition. For this exhibition, 198 photographers entered 394 photos of which 48 works by 42 artists were selected for the exhibition.
The theme of the exhibition is 'Portrays of the heart of Puerto Plata!' For this the photographers have made impression of Puerto Plata, Montellano, Sos?a and Cabarete. The exhibition came to be in collaboration with the Centro Cuesta Nacional (CCN) and Centro Leon in Santiago. It is for the fourth time that CCN organizes a photo exhibition, and now Sos?a's Casa de Arte participates for the first time. You can visit the photo exhibition until April 30. The cultural center of Sos?a (Casa de Arte) is located across the Sos?a Bay Casino. Now also known as Coral Reef Casino.
