Enjoy meeting new people/cultures
Well... ok, I was remiss. I had for years heard on and on and on about Punta Cana, punta, punta punta punta...

I must give Kudos - we have had a fine, QUIET and pleasant time in our last two monthly visits down to Cap Cana. We are fans of AquaMarina. I now can understand why Americans( and others) are enamored. No moto noise. No street clamor. Just quiet.

However, I must say - it is almost like not being in the Dominican. Without Bachatta noise, loud voices in background all the time, smell of burning brush(i am in the country) and horns...it is almost like Palm Beach or Laguna or some such.

Regrettably, given the five star prices a visit is all I will ever have. Go enjoy!

It gets a bit busier during Christmas and Easter, but the rest of the year it is as silent as the tomb.

While Cap Cana was pretty quiet during our visit a couple of weeks ago, it was a very welcome rest from Santo Domingo. I was very impressed with Aqua Marina. Hoping to spend my birthday in June there.
