Other reports say that one of the guys were just a motoconcho driver, and thatthe was just transporting the other guy who who was the one carrying the box with the explosives inside.

i am pretty sure it had nothing to do with terrorismo and everything to do with navarrete being a hot spot for huelgas. but it is interesting that the protests are turning so sour under the government of medina who is doing a good job as a president...

im not sure he is....economic activity hasn't been as low as it is now for a long time....maybe for the public perception he seems a good, honest president, but on economic planning the current government isn't doing a good job.

i think that dominicans do not really look at economy as a whole, they like danilo's governing. economy is also not a reason for huelgas: potholes, lack of services and other similar things is what interests people the most.

Navarrette has always been THE place to be for huelgas. Before Medina, during and probably after........
The "tigueres" uses its crossroad/central position as a window display..... and rightly so.... after all who gives at rats a$$ when people block country roads...... where as navarette always makes it onto the news......
