try uship where the show shipping wars came from maybe you can find someone that might be heading that way and live close to the shipping item. it might not work but takes a min to try
Boat parts sound like they might be heavy, so cheapest would be via one of the box shippers by boat. Try Montero Shipping, Embarque Bella Vista, Awilda, depending on where you are shipping from.

Charcoal - Performer Platinum (~$350)
I'm interested to see the shipping costs and if the Aduana will differentiate between gas & charcoal.
They are ordered and on their way to the mudanza, arriving there later next week.

They weigh about 90-100lbs each
There was no differentiating between gas and charcoal

$100 is better.... I was going to send them to Lowe's but they were sold out of my grill.

Guys I would steer away from Quisqueya Shipping, highly & I mean HIGHLY unorganized, 20 Phone calls for information ! Awilda is reliable & so are the people in Freeport NY - Embarque Jaraboacoa

Where are these companies based? I have always used Family Cargo Express in the Bronx and they've done very well by me.
Embarque Bella Vista is in the Bronx, but they pick up all over New York, New Jersey and I think Philadelphia/PA.

when we sold our NYC apartment, Awilda came to the apt, priced it and packed it.
It reappeared in Cabrera shortly thereafter.
