Furniture stores in Santiago

Can anyone recommend any furniture stores in Santiago that cater for dressing tables, cabinets, bookshelves? Alternatively recommend a good 'woodworker' who can build from pictures in the Sosua/Cabarete area.

There is an excellent carpenter in POP. He made me some pieces including a beautiful dressing table. He does everything kitchen cabinets, desks, cedar closets etc. If you want more info pm me

I'd appreciate some store name in Santiago minus PriceSmart, Ochoa and Plasa Lama if anyone knows any.

there are several furniture shops outside santiago, towards SD, on both sides of the road. those are showrooms of large furniture makers.

when miesposo is back i will have him dig out the name and number of the man who did some of our furniture in POP. he is located in san marcos. spanish only. very nice and honest man. name is isaias, i think (although it could be spelled differently). one of my favourite prophets too.
