I'd appreciate any insight on the following area.
Avenida Gustavo Mejia Ricart between Nu?ez de Caceres and Winston Churchill.

I am casually familiar with the area but I don't "really" know what it's like for living.
It's a major avenue and not ideal for quiet living but it is walking distance
to major shops and amenities.

Maybe someone from DR1 knows best as I see, on the map, your offices are down the street.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

That part of Gustavo Mejia Ricart has reasonable parts and other parts that are not that good. Just past Nu?ez de Caceres the first few blocks are ok, then everything around Defillo I wouldn't recommend it, lots of 'barrios' there. The closer you get to Churchill the better it gets again.

Obviously there is a lot of noise of traffic and traffic jams at peak hour. If it's a place in one of the streets parallel to Gustavo Mejia Ricart you will not notice that much from the noise.

It's right on Gustavo Mejia Ricart and I'm debating if I should hang on to it. It's a two family and a relative suggested keeping the upstairs vacant for when I visit but I don't know if it's a good idea yet.
The area is so close and I can fly and be home by 2pm. I have some thinking to do.

Thanks for your input.
