A very talented, well traveled and educated Dominican young artist, who is studying at Altos de Chavon School of Design, has won a scholarship to study illustration for a month in Parsons School of Design in Manhattan. He is fluent in English, Spanish, Italian and French. He has to find a place to stay on his own. He would be there 27 May to 27 June.

He is living in a one bedroom comfortable efficiency in Altos de Chavon, with a lovely garden view. The place has cooking facilities, a small bathroom, closet, washing machine, full bed. He would consider a swap for someone who wants to stay in Altos de Chavon (La Romana) for a month. A week at an apartment in Santo Domingo would also be possible. A bedroom with bath in a comfortable apartment with access to cooking could work, also. Utility usage would be the responsibility of each. Preferably not so far from Parsons, or easily reachable by public transport. References and photos of the places would be exchanged.

Basically he needs a place to sleep, a bathroom, where he can do his art work, and cook, so he doesn't have to eat out every day.

He says he is one of the few Dominicans who doesn't have a relative where he can stay in NYC!

Any suggestions? He has asked for help in locating a place.

Thank you!
