Appreciate the offer, do you grow it here?
No i don't grow it but I cook a lot of Indian food so people who travel here always bring me spices in big bags. So I have turmeric to spare if you need some.

For clarity, I see the spice everywhere but I would like the actual root. I live in SD

It baffles me the amount of items I have to order from abroad when the products are actually homegrown here.

Went there today, they don't have much these days other than some dry spices etc. Only root there is ginger

I'm just curious, why do you prefer the root over the already powdered turmeric? You will have to grate the root anyway or are there other uses for it?
