Fried Avacatos

I live in Santiago
Today I picked up one of the long avacatos for lunch. As I began to peel it I found that it was pretty hard but had good color.

I ate some of it then added salt then ate more then added pepper and ate a little more. None of that too good. Then I had an idea: fry it! I did and it was good.

I googled and found that frying avacatos was not unheard of and there are some recipes available.

Please share your experiences.

Personally I prefer using boiling hot oil when i am frying my abogados. Don't just think they're done when they stop screaming though. Poke them with a fork for a few hours to be sure.

it just shows the fact that here in the DR Everything can be Fried, lol.
avocados are no bad fried, but i really prefer them a lot undone, just peel 'em and eat 'em, natural, as the great slice of sidedish they are.
