What companies can do this kind of work on Jimny Suzuki in the DR?
Has has anyone done this kind of work on their Jimny / SUV ; in particular the undercarriage of the car, suspension, tires, car lift etc etc

Can you purchase these kinds of tires/ price in the DR?

Give us fellow posters a hint of where the Suzuki is garaged and most likely you will receive a recommendation of a location that does reliable work.

I lifted my truck (not Suzuki) in DR, just bought the lift kit/shocks from US, and spent 4 days with the mechanic to install it. The most reliable way to do it is to stand behind the mechanic's back with the installation manual from the lift kit in English, translate it to him step by step and controlling everything including the torque of every nut (don't forget to buy a torque wrench). I have never seen any lift kit properly installed in DR, there is no West Coast Customs here, it's a ghetto fix always... so YOU have to control everything.

Installing bigger tires means changing the differential gears, if you don't want to kill the transmission. It's much more difficult than installing a lift kit. I did this work myself since I did not find anyone in DR who can do it properly. Sometimes new drive shaft is needed too, I ordered the custom one from US.

P.S. do it on a bigger truck, Suzuki Jimny is too small for this.

If Santiago is on your radar, there are some street suspension specialists on J. Armando Bermudez across the street from Repuestos Norte.

You'll know you're there because they all have struts with springs painted yellow on the streets to mark their "spot", like traffic cones...
