Puerto Plata.- Dominican Republic and Brazil will join efforts to reposition Puerto Plata province as an icon tourist destination and tomorrow Saturday a delegations from both countries will unveil in the Loma Isabel de Torres a plaque to register the correspondence between the monuments; Puerto Plata?s Cristo and Rio de Janeiro?s El Corcovado.
This activity forms part of the province?s recent efforts to restore its image as an international tourism landmark, especially for its beaches, eco-tourism and regional culture.
