For me... 4:26 PM Drive the flavor of the week home to White Sands, gracias. 4:45 PM back home, clean the little bit of sand that gathered on the floor mats of my new car.. 5:00 pm.. Open up an Ice Cold Presindente Grande... 6:00 Pm make plans to go meet friends for some Thai Food at 8:30 Pm... 6:10 pm Nap time..

Life is good as I sip my wine, started at 6, and enjoy the breeze and the sounds of QUIET....back in the states it would be overwhelmingly loud tonight with fireworks, I prefer the sound of the frogs mating in my pool or whatever it is they are doing. I can actually see the stars with no smog to interfere, glass is empty time for another one.

Every day at about 1.30pm I have a swim in my pool, then have about 10 minutes on a sunbed with the sun beating down on me, the smell of sun cream reminds me of so many vacations, and quite often it's almost silent, even in the middle of the city, with just the sound of the green parrots squarking as they fly backwards and forwards. I was thinking today how special these moments are and how lucky I am to be here.

Great to see a positive thread about life here. I love my beautiful garden, a walk on the beach and a few Bohemias or Santo Libres with some gorgeous girls. Friends from England are jealous!
