Hi!
I'm traveling to the area next week and thought I'd reach out and see who might be out there for an impromptu snack/lunch/dinner/run/hike/etc! This is my first visit to the DR, and while it is coming out of an apparently impulsive Groupon purchase a couple of weeks ago, I'm totally stoked to visit and see this country! I'm not an expat, but I have the spirit, and I love local knowledge as opposed to being stuck out at my resort with the yahoos downing macaroni and cheese off the buffet.
I'm 34, from Tennessee (currently, anyway, but originally from Baltimore, MD), a teacher, and love yoga, hiking, eating, swimming, etc.
Just looking for friendly faces once I'm on the island - thank you!!
