O+ blood needed

Hi everyone. A good friend of mine, Jim Hughes, is in CMC in Sosua and they are in need of O+ blood. As far as I can see only O+ is acceptable for someone with this group. If anyone can help you can simply go direct to CMC.

Hi I am 0+ do they still need blood....I am on the list at CMC as I gave blood about 2 months ago

Hi, Would love to help but the last couple of times I tried to donate they said my count was too low and now I've turned 60 I think they will refuse it anyway. They told me that last time. I guess I should try to take my name off the list to avoid people wasting time.

They will take O neg too. Just got back from CMC an armful lighter. Time to top up my fluids with Presidente!

I have a couple hundred friends on FB in the Sosua, Cab, POP area - I just posted this. Crossing my fingers... hopefully some have and can get over there. My thoughts are with your friend.

No, definitely not the same Jim. Thanks to those who have donated!!! I have just spoken to CMC and they still need more, they can take O+ or O-

I just wanted to update everyone. Jim Hughes received the blood he needed and is making an excellent recovery thanks to the kind and selfless acts of others, some of whom don't even know him! Thank you all for the blood, thoughts and good wishes!!!!
