Today, Friday July 18, at 7:30 PM, an exhibition of works by artist Teddy Tejeda in the Culture House (Casa de Arte) Sos?a opens with a reception. Teddy, who lives in Sos?a, is known for his revolutionary design of his paintings and sculptures. Teddy belongs to the top artists of the Dominican Republic. This is obvious for the many exhibitions he has held in Puerto Plata, Santo Domingo, Santiago and La Vega. Now Sos?a gets a chance to get to know the work of this painter better. Teddy works in oil paint, acrylic and watercolor. The artist is known for his innovative drive. Almost every year he changes his style and he comes back with surprising new discoveries.
In his most recent period he painted with oil paint in basic colors, the Marc Chagall style.
