New Puerto Plata Office to process residency requests

Hi !

I have heard that they are opening an office in POP to help in the 18month quick process to get residency if you qualify .... anyone know where it is or if it is open yet ?

Read the fine print Mike, the guy is talking about the "18month quick process to get residency".
I don't think that is the same as what you have and have to renew.

It is next to the police station at Av. Luis Ginebra 36 but when I went there last month it wasn't open yet. The phone number is 809 586 4458 so you can call and check. Let us know what they say please!

Is this one of the offices being opened all over the country for regularising the status of undocumented Haitians applying for Dominican nationality, or a new branch of Migracion extranjeria office for granting/renewing residency to foreigners like the one in Veron/Punta Cana?
