Hello everyone:)

I am interested in the pensioner RESIDENCE visa in the DR.
I looked up the DR embassy website for the requirements for a residence visa.

One of those requirements is:
Notarized Letter of Guarantee. Signed by a Dominican or a legal resident alien in the Dominican Republic specifying the type of relationship with the beneficiary of the visa.

Can those of you who have been through this process or know about it tell me how easy/difficult is the process in general and if the above requirement is actually enforced? Do really need to find a local dominican to kinda sponsor me?!!

Also, do the requested documents really need to be "apostilled" as mentioned on the embassy website?

Thank you in advance ))

As Harleysrock mentioned, your immigration lawyer will be able to provide all of those obscure documents and letters as well as the translation of all the documents into Spanish.

After you have posted 10 messages, send me a PM if you would like an immigration lawyer recommendation.
