However, after having checked a number of job-search websites, such as (www.caribbeanjobfair.com) spoken to friends in the DR, read advise on this board etc... I realize that it is as easy or difficult to get a job in DR as anywhere else, meaning NOT easy, at least not if you have any kind of requirements on the job! Unless, that is, you have special skills or influential contacts...
Best thing to do seems to simply bring a huge chunk of money, open one of those 10% or whatever accounts and then enjoy a cold Presidente as you watch the sky kiss the ocean, as your bank account grows bigger and bigger by it's own weight...
