From Bangladesh, Sri Lanka or Trinidad & Tobago?

Six Indians??? How odd......

Well, maybe my translation was not correct.
It said 'hind?es' (hindus).

But most of them do live in India (approximately 940 million)...

Hind? is the Latin American Spanish demonym for people from India, regardless of religion, because "indio" would be confusing.

A sailboat ("Double Trouble") with 24 illegal passengers (18 Dominicans and 6 people from India) was intercepted 14 NM off the coast.
Allegedly the boat was on her way to Miami.

Interceptan velero; apresan 26 personas - Almomento.net: Periodico Digital Dominicano

Here they counted 26 passengers:
Armada de RD detuvo hoy en alta mar un velero con 26 personas que intentaban ir a Miami - listindiario.com

It would be interesting to know who the owner of the sailboat is...
