    Default how to ship a piece of painting out to Europe

    we are visiting DR and wanted to buy one of those oil on canvas paintings they sell in the street of Santo Domingo It is not really artworks but wwe like it. Is there any restrtictions by legal system to move such paintings out of the country?

    My family has brought several back on the plane with them. They take it out of the frame for you and roll it up. Easy peasy.

    If you know that's what you want to do, bring a poster carrier from FedEx or UPS with you to put the paintings in after they are rolled.

    or get an old pc of PVC pipe.....

    Then, tape several toilet paper rolls together and use THAT!!!!

    I had thought of the aluminum foil or wax paper rolls...

    longer - calling for less taping.....
