These A$$HOLES race all over the DR!
Saw a bunch coming back to SD Sunday on Autopista Duarte.
Glad he killed himself, and not some child walking along the road!
The "IQ" in the DR has gone up a couple of points!

Was driving out to the Hard Rock Casino on our last visit on a Saturday afternoon and there was a moto concho laying sprawled on the pavement beside a large tour bus, that had smacked him off the bike to the pavement and cracked his gourd like a over-ripe coconut. Blood everywhere, no pulse and a bus driver ringing his hands over the body. No police, no ambulance, no coroner on the site and it looked like the accident (incident) had happened quite a while before we passed. Does ANYONE know if the DR has a Good Samaritan Law? :confused:

Yes the Good Samaritan law here is YOU will be made to pay for the damages, hospital bill and probably
put in jail.

Well yeah, I suppose.....
But there again if u ride a motorbike in shorts and flipflops ( and I am the first to do it....), even a punny 100cc bike, when u fall it hurts.... at the least.........
And if u are really racing........sounds like sucicide, to me.

Saw a bunch in SD once, both racing and doing acrobatics (like laying on their bike horizontally) while speeding. Scary **** !

We all thought we would live forever when we were that age. We just took different levels of risk.

Maybe to you it's a disgusting comment, for me (and others) it's harsh reality of complete idiots risking their lives (and others) doing something so stupid it can't be described.
In my opinion respect has nothing to do with it, would they have taught this boy a normal behaviour he would be still alive at this moment.

The thing is, that life is unfair. It is true that life is a b?tch and sometimes stupidity earns the death penalty. But agreeing that life SHOULD be a b?tch , and off the stupid for the amusement of others is somewhat offensive.

I never could understand the motoconcho guys. They spend what amounts to a years pay for a motorcycle and insist upon trying to tear them up by running them off road, gunning and red lining the engines, spinning out etc.

Only so that on another day he might have killed someone else. I have personally seen these idiots drive like that in the same area. Stupid is as stupid does. Another Darwin Awards contestant.

Karma=Bull. Things happen for a reason and that reason is usually physics but sometimes the reason is that you are stupid and make bad decisions.

No Respect for Others

...obviously this young man never learned such respect.

It's a cultural thing, like...
- those motoconchos competing in speed races (spectators bet on them);
- truck and bus drivers brush everybody off the road in their path;
- "hijos de mami y papi" like to display their 'supercarros' in races along the Santo Domingo avenidas...
