Saw this 'article' in a local dutch newspaper: giving birth in a foreign country.
First two pictures taking San Cristobal as an example. According to the article: 1. no privacy. 2. no male family allowed to VISIT.
Both are not true of course, if called as an example of how people give birth in DR. My wife had (and will have in december) both privacy and will get to choose who she wants to be there during giving birth and who she wants to receive after giving birth.
