Where does the "TOTAL EXENTO" of 68.04 come from?

That was the charge for "extending" to you the privilege of buying at their store.

The right hand columns adds up to 266.67 + Itbis of 31.78 = 296.45

Pan con Cereales 68.00 pesos (No Itbis sub-total)
This one column for some reason did not show the .04
(Computer rounding error perhaps)

Exento seems to be the price of the Pan con cereales, which are exempt from the Itbis.

$68.04 is pretty close to $68.00

Thank you!
Indeed the bread is 68 Pesos and not 60 Pesos as I thought it said on the slip.
I had to use a magnifying glass to get it right.

Old age, I guess..... :tired:

Being as the smallest coin is one peso, fractional parts of a peso, like 4 centavos, are omitted.

one peso is about 2.3?, so .04 pesos would be .0009?
