Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone had information regarding long term parking near the airport. We'd leave the car for three weeks.

Unless a trusted member of the board or a friend offered me the option, I'd leave my vehicle home and grab a cab to the airport.

I saw a car at the Santiago airport yesterday booted. I suspect someone *tried* to make the parking lot across from the terminal "long term."

I'd just take a taxi instead of leaving your car.

Posted in the SD Forum, I say Las Americas.
In MANY SD neighborhoods you can not leave your care safely for ONE NIGHT never mind 3 weeks!
For 2,000 pesos you can park it in my SECURE side yard!!!!!
May have dog pi$$ on the tires when you return, but At Least, it will STILL have tires!!!!!!
IF you leave the keys, I'l ROTATE the tires everyday while you are away!

Even w/ CCCC's kind offer....
leaving a car out in the sun for 3 weeks straight is not a good idea

Leaving it out in the sun, unattended, is a less gooder idea....

It's SDQ yes. I'm coming from the north coast with my wife and 11-month old. It'd be nice to have the car with us to avoid caribe tours and drive around the capital to take care of some stuff.

I have left my car for a couple of weeks in the lot at SDQ. It is not cheap. I believe it cost me about $12usd a day. Three weeks will add up. You are almost better off the rent a vehicle for the day and drop it at the airport. It will be cheaper and you can leave your car at home.
