Well...

I do have TWO three ring binders complete with all the emergency numbers, an emergency plan, copies of passports, insurance cards, and directions to the hospitals and embassy in the house and the car. I do CPR training for the family including the nanny and gardener, have a well stocked medical kit, enough supplies and water to outlast a hurricane or civil unrest, and enough rum to get through a week or so just in case!

I suspect a former Boy Scout turned modern day Survivalist. Nothing wrong with being prepared.

Wow you are hardcore! I will have to figure out where you live when a hurricane comes! Good for you, more people should be prepared like you.

Pick up some more rum on the way, just in case we're in it for the long haul.

Part of my job and background is emergency response plans and such. But mostly, it make me feel better about being 7,000 miles away at work with the wife and kids at home.
