Going on a vacation to Lifestyles resort (in Puerto Plata) with my wife. Looking for a ride from Santiago Airport to Lifestyles resort.

Please let me know your rates and availability.

Flight in Nov 5th (round 2:30am, Spirit Airlines)

Flight back home - Nov 11th (3am).

I know I'm late. But I know a taxi that will take from Santiago to Puerto plata for $2000 pesos or $45usd. His name is Alex and his number is 809 318 0669. In case anyone else want to make the trip.

Who ever just called Alex please pm me. You're lucky I was next to them when you called. He's trying to bs you. I'm going to Puerto plata as I write this for $2000 pesos. When you said airport he went into his tourist mode. Sorry about him haggling you over the price. Living here has its perks. That's why I got a good price. Like I said on the phone I'll work on him.

How do you know he'll do it? Just called Alex and he quoted 3500 pesos...

You said airport and he went into tourist mode. I'm glad you called when you did. I'm in the car with him now going to Puerto plata. There is always 2 prices here. One for people that live here and another for everyone else. Pm your number. I know a more honest driver. He said $2500 because I told him you're my friend.

Since I don't know how to delete a post. I do not recommend Alex anymore. He tried to rip me off today. 4 years of friendship should account for something, but that's how it goes in this country sometimes. I would just take the bus and save the money. Not as comfortable, but its a lot cheaper and they have a consistent price.

What kind of vehicle does he drives, after almost seven years of living the American dream in NC I'm still getting Emails from people requesting my services...

That's a real steal $ 45. Bucks!

I was charging US $ 80. before closing operations in 2008.

man when you on vacation w/wifey...you want a little class...comfort and reliability...and for that an extra couple of bucks is worth the extra dollars....u need that taxi there on time early miss a plane because someone (taxi) was late? expensive!!!
