These are extreme examples of what seems to be seriously drunken drivers, chosen from the wackiest footage that could be found in a country of 170 million people over several years. One could find at least as grotesque auto accidents in the US if there were as many cameras rolling, which I think there soon will be.

Back in the eighties when the refuseniks got preferential treatment overnight boston was flooded with new Russian immigrants. Not Brighton beach flooded, but tons. I heard about the following and it true. Magen a Russian opens a bottle of vodka the cap is tossed across the room. You open it, you finish. Damn, I had a younger liver then.

Under the communists they drank because it was cheap and to escape their misery. After the fall they drink more to celebrate their freedom. Moral of the story is.............they drink!
