My co-workers are coming to visit. They are mostly African American males.

Is it safe to take them to Avenida Venezuela?

I have never been there, and I don't know what to make of it.

Some people say it's safe, others say not so much.

Then there is the racism issue..

Any advice is appreciated.

Yes, Venezuela is probably the best night out in the Capital. No racism issues at all, decent crowd. Scum can not afford to go down there. There is a bit of a gangland influence in some places but just go and enjoy it, don't give off an attitude and you'll love it. There is a big rap scene influence there, and when you have live performers (which is often) you could be in the US.

Av. Venezuela is a nice place to go.
Parking is a little uncomfortable.
There's plenty of food cars around the place.
I recommend going to Wao, Eclipse, Euphoria, La Barrica, Boozer does are really nice places.
A bottle of Black Label is around 2500 ~ 3500 Pesos which is around 60 to 80 USD.
Don't try to go with shorts or stuff like that, since these places don't people go in like that, like some other places.
Euphoria usually has artist every sunday.
Hope you enjoy!
