Hi,

Does anyone know of any existing orphanages in the Santo Domingo/Boca Chica/Juan Dolio area? I would be looking to go along with clothing/toys etc, so ideally one that will allow entry.

Many thanks

There is one on the malecon in Santo Domingo diagonally across the street from Adrian Tropical restaurant, two blocks west of Marriot Jaragua Hotel.

I think the one in the above thread Give a Pillow might be a better choice.

There is one at the corner of Avenidas Jardines de Fontainesbleau and Jardines de los Cerezos in Los Jardines del Norte, which is on the north side of Kennedy a little west of Churchill. Avenida Jardines de Fontainesbleau is at the first light after the park.

"Escuela Hogar Armando Rosenberg" is a really great "HOME" for children.
They would welcome your visit, and ANY donations.
Just look them up under their name on the internet!!!!!
I have supported them for over 20 years.

The order of Spanish Nuns who run the place also have orphanages in Boca Chica, and Moca.
