Romero and jengibre. Although I don't live up there, Nacional and Pola in my area always carry fresh jengibre and once in a while I see romero.

both la sirena and jose luis have romero and jengibre. romero will be in small packages, in the veggie fridge, in both shops. costs about 30-35 pesos. jengibre is either packed in a small tray next to fruits (jose luis) or loose in large boxes in fruit section (la sirena). a package will be 50-100 pesos, depending on size.

Rosemary: easy to find fresh. I have not been able to locate fresh ginger root anywhere in the Sosewage/Cabarete area.

Lo and behold, I saw stacks of fresh ginger root in both Super Pola and the ganadera in Sosua last week.
