So I have seen many posts about what are the safest neighborhoods/Area/residential in Santiago ; which by the way they all provide great help and inside on Santiago,BUT I have a more Specific targeted question, I would like to know If I was to rent an Apt. or House right on Estrella Sadhala Avenue what will be the safest area to move on to (keep in mind that Estrella Sadhala is a LONG avenue)

Second question :I private message someone on this forum to ask this question and he replied by saying that ALL of the Estrella Sadhala Avenue from beginning to End it's safe... Does everyone agree with his opinion?

Thank you

I live in Santiago
ES has some problems: too accessible via car, moto and foot; so, accessible by thiefs. It will be noisy. On the other hand it is on route M and that gets you to many places and other routes, via public car. The apartments may be cheap but you can find cheap and quiet in other places.

ES is not safe the whole way through (my opinion). It goes right by Los Salados, near Infotep is sketchy, around PriceSmart can be hit or miss, near Fridays and the casino are safe but those apartments are not right on the street and you'll be paying a lot to live there.

IF you want to live on ES your best area is probably right after El Elevado going towards PriceSmart where the Haitian embassy is located. There are a lot of apartments in that area.

I've seen a few of your other topics and I'm going to let you know, working in a call center is not going to be sufficient dinero for you to live and be comfortable.

You should really work online from your apartment and living on ES will be noisy for that.

La Esmeralda is probably the safest stretch. I would rent something at least 100m away from ES though because of noise: towers may be pricy but there are lots of lowrise buildings or houses that are reasonably priced
