I've yet to read any news about coca crops being destroyed here in the DR
Anyone can supply. Not everyone can produce.

Bronxboy-Colombia's neighbors, Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia, have increased cocaine production. Things are changing in terms of the supply logistics but the drug issues remain the same.

As for the DR, the island is used as a transshipment center and Dominicans operate as middlemen, the classic "buscon" mentality that permeates many other aspects of Dominican society.
