thats a surprise, as we have a huge Italian community in the DR.
on the other hand, other Embassies of EU Countries can do the job for them, for visas they anyways work together and pool them at one larger embassy since a while, instead of doing lil by lil at different embassies.

in theory he cannot be refused help from another EU embassy/consulate. although in this particular case he would be screwed either way. he would not get any financial help nor advance towards to cost of his return ticket. the embassies/consulates do not do that.the best he could count on is a document to travel back home.

Pizza is one thing, the Casciati type Italians are the other lot.

{And I believe that some of those pizza bakers just prefered the DR than ending up in a concrete column... :ninja: }

I have heard that Russians can be a pest at AI's, but they also buy more real estate than the broke Europeans... :disappoin
