Gringos fall from balconies all over. We have excellent news coverage of gringo deaths. We have lots of gringos because this is the best part of the DR. When I am staggering drunk I stay off balconies. Worked so far.

I remember hearing stories about secret places where old elephants would go to die.

Cabarete is the gringo elephant graveyard.

gringo elephant? gee, he was only 64, that's about the same as the youngest of dr1ers.

sh--t last month a drunk fell over a chair and got hurt real bad...
probably had some momentum...and did a tumble off balcon....what a way to ruin a vacation./end a life...

If you stay on the ground level then you also have to worry about drunk gringos falling on top of you from balconies.
